A Christian based business, we started airbrushing as a hobby with toys and craft items as an easier way to apply paint faster and more consistant. TNT COLORS began in early 2009 after seeing another company applying temporary tattoos at a local county fair the year before. We started researching and gaining information about airbrush tattoos. Next we found a good source for tattoo ink and stencils. We then slowly started purchasing equipment and supplies and began searching for events that we could set up at and do trial runs.
First we set up at the 2009 Max's Water Dog Trials held at the Allen County Fair Grounds and found people, especially kids, were very interested and pleased with the Tattoos. After that we set up at the 2009 Wing Fest in Wapakoneta Ohio and received the same reaction. We then set up at our churches fall festival, Cridersville United Methodist Church, and the reaction of our church was outstanding. So needless to say, TNT COLORS was born and is going strong. Eventually, TNT COLORS now offers face painting to our line of services we offer.
We also make small wooden toys like Spoon Basketball, Flick Football, Rubberband Cars, etc. We bring those along with us when we set up at fairs and such. These items keep the kids busy and they really enjoy them, not to mention the adults do too.
In case you may be wondering, we are located in Wapakoneta Ohio. Wapakoneta is located almost halfway between Dayton and Toledo Ohio , just off I-75. So if your party or function is located within this area then we can be there for you.
Our Temporary Tattoos can last up to 10 days with proper care. This is dependent on the skin type of the person getting the Tattoo. Dry skin will allow the Tattoo to last longer and oily skin will not allow the Tattoo to last as long. When we apply a Tattoo we give directions on how to properly care for the Tattoo in order to make it last the longest and we have that information here on the website. All of the products we use are FDA approved, the Tattoo inks have a pleasant cotton candy smell when applied and are hypoallergenic, so no need to worry about skin irritations or harsh odors. When we clean the skin to prepare for the Tattoo, we use 70% isopropal alcohol with a pleasant wintergreen odor.
Face painting was added in 2013 and is an integral part of our business now. If clients do not prefer the tattoos then we can offer something different and we have several designs to choose from.
